Regardless of “Super-STAR” status in the eye of the public, said “Super-Star” is still “that little trouble-maker” to friends and family.
Just ask virtually ANYONE who is starting a new career . . . Those people closest to them can be the most difficult to convert as clients.
Why?
This is counter-intuitive. One would think that the people closest to home would be the ones who would be more likely to take a chance on the “Home-Boy”
Considering the aforementioned Biblical reference to this conundrum, it’s quite clear that this is not a new thing.
Folks closest to us know us “Warts and ALL” . . . and no matter how big and famous we get in the eyes of our public, they still remember changing our diapers . . . the times we got in trouble . . . and that we (like everyone) put our pants on one leg at a time.
Don’t let any of this hold ya back!
