Seth Godin asks: “Who is making you uncomfortable?”
TUT . . . A Note from The Universe told me this morning: “Think of the one area of life that brings you the most discomfort, Barry, and that’s where you’re ripe for growth.”
The point is clear, and Seth Godin drives it home in his pithy post when he ends with: “It takes love and kindness and confidence to bring the truth to a friend you care about. If you’re insulating yourself from these conversations, who benefits?”
We grow and stretch as we explore the boundaries of our vulnerabilities and acknowledge our relative ineptness . . .
the biggest difference between those folks who REALLY excel in life and those who don’t is a willingness to challenge and be challenged to perform at a high level.
Avoid this, and you’re accepting mediocrity.
Mediocrity may be comfortable, but it’s definitely not going to get you ahead of the game.
