Do you practice what you preach?
Walk your talk?
Do you overpromise and underdeliver . . . EVER?
OR
Do you underpromise and OVERdeliver?
Are your “Scripts and dialogs” in alignment with the service you provide?
When working with a customer or client, are you a hammer looking for a nail?
Do you understand the notion that when someone buys a drill, it’s not the drill he buys . . . it’s the holes the drill will make in the future?
Who are you “serving”?
Yourself?
Others?
These are only tough questions when there’s crack in the shell of “TRUTH” . . . That is, being authentic with yourself and with other folks.
The simple facts are that if your scripts and dialogs “GET” the business, but the delivery of the promises falls short . . . The client feels rooked.
They feel like your delivery was all talk (saying all the “right” things) . . . and no show.
That’s when they begin to wonder about your integrity . . . what other things might you have said that are not true?
Like the cowboy in the bar with the big hat bragging about the big ranch . . . and then leaves in his big truck and heads home to his urban condo – Big Hat . . . No Cattle!
THAT’S a form of self-sabotage that you have 100% capacity to manage . . .
Here’s the trick, though . . . This is an ALL or NOTHING thing.
It’s about integrity . . . and event the slightest crack in the armor of your integrity will immediately discredit any trust and loyalty you may have spent years creating.
Just sayin’
Best,
b
