When effecting personal changes like relationships Business and Personal, how patient are you with yourself? When considering big, important decisions, I often catch myself eagerly LEAPING to conclusions which lead me down rabbit holes which are entertaining (maybe even exhilarating) but less than realistic in terms of moving forward.
I sometimes find myself awakening to hear my coach within begging and pleading to remember to practice what I “preach”.
Is going this route better than before?
Is this the right azimuth towards the objective.
Are these people journeying alongside me the right people?
Am I attuned to the Pareto Principle such that I am “aligning” with the right (VITAL) people systems and tools right for THIS job?
The people you like the most may not be the best people for the team because I believe many of the best ideas (Diamonds & Pearls) are rare and emerge out of tension, pressure, HEAT, CONFLICT divergent personalities and notions with legs.
Great projects bear fruit when when ALL participants are taking PERSONAL responsibility with PASSION such that they might even acknowledge that their “way” isn’t the ONLY path to success.
FREEDOM is ESSENTIAL . . . in the form of the “law of 2 feet” (Open Space Technology) – If at any time you find yourself in a place where you feel you are neither contributing nor learning, then you have the RIGHT (and even responsibility to) use your 2 feet to take yourself to a place where you WILL be useful to yourself and others.
I find myself ENERGIGIZED when these conditions are present . . . Creativity and Spirit doing it’s bidding.
Final thought for this blog post . . . Intentionally Opening Space and letting the space BREATHE, seems to be enough. in order to yourself getting more accomplished with less effort.
