It’s worth doing well!

After 27 years of being a Realtor and member Of Greater Nashville Realtors . . . faithfully serving on many committees (professional standards and Professional Development), I decided to step up and run for the Board of Directors.
Why?
I believe THIS is the perfect time to be part of the solution for the myriad challenges we Realtors are facing daily. 
Greater Nashville Realtors, TN Realtors, and National Association of Realtors have been awesome defenders of our Livelihood and the American Dream of Home Ownership. 
My reason for wanting to serve on the board NOW is to do whatever possible to improve the quality of life for our members . . . This requires us to defend our livelihood, be consummate PROFESSIONALS . . . AND we must take care of our Self  so we can be fully present for those Home Buyers and Sellers we serve. 
So . . . I and 5 other amazing Realtors have made it to “The slate of Six” . . . 4 of us will win a seat on the Board of Directors for 2021. I want to be one of those 4 new directors because I believe the next few years will be pivotal, and I believe my service will make a difference for all Realtors.

What is “scaring” the average agent these days, and how can we help them cope?

For me, this boils down to 3 “Pillars” with each having 3 essential foci.
Livelihood – RPAC – Local Niche – Relationship
For sure – All Realtors feel like the existence of our livelihood is under attack from all sides – Internet, Local, State, and National government, and onslaught of class action lawsuits. I believe our Local, State, and Nashville Realtor Associations combat these assaults on our profession with RPAC – Circling our wagons around our NICHEs (Real Estate sales is LOCAL) – and a campaign of Building STRONG, cohesive relationships. 
Professionalism – Ethics – Etiquette – Cooperation
As our numbers grow and digital business continues to proliferate, Broker “Supervision” becomes more “diluted” and more essential. We need strong emphasis on the ETHICAL practices of our members . . . and then add a measure of defining “best practices” regarding Etiquette as our Principal Brokers and agents work together and with our clients . . . and a SOLID mantra of Realtor to Realtor (Clear) cooperation
Personal Well-Being (Life Rhythm)
 – Mind – Body– Spirit
Many of our members are living toxic lives . . . Literally killing themselves Mentally, Physically, Spiritually, socially, emotional – This works together with the professionalism. How can we call ourselves “professionals” while working 24/7/365?  
What do I get out of this? 
I can become a smooth conduit for news of things happening “in the trenches” and together we can solve LOTS of problems
