Just about anything that’s ignored degrades over time.
Drive a car long enough without maintenance, and it’ll fall apart.
Live in a house long enough without fixing things that break, and it’ll destroy itself.
Being in denial about our physical health symptoms, and our bodies will shut down.
Failing to keep in touch with friends and family, and relationships unravel.
Shutting your eyes and and plugging your nose and ears won’t extinguish the fire in your kitchen.
Being an ostrich (planting head in sand) won’t make issues disappear.
Choosing not to learn doesn’t relieve you from legal and professional obligations.
Inattention is passive aggressive apathy writ large.
Be in the present with us and pay attention to the things and people of importance to you.
Notice when you are not being attentive and ask yourself why?
If this something is something for which you are personally and/or professional responsible, it may be time to consider a change.
Life’s too short not to rise every morning with a bright-eyed bushy-tailed attitude of proceeding til tackled with unbridled enthusiam.
There now . . . I said it!
Choose to be “ALL-IN” with respect to your love of yourself and things you do and the people you “allow” within your span of attention.
All in . . . I like that!
