Breaking the mold in East Nashville

Nashville’s East Side can be (IS) Eclectic by nature. That’s why most folks who feel compelled to live there “Check in and never check out.”

The area is full of interesting houses and a wide array of architectural styles and neighborhood configurations from Historic Urban, to “river Community,” to Brick ranches on large lots . . . There’s something for virtually EVERYONE.

The one consistency is that the PEOPLE are all COOL ๐Ÿ™‚

With cool people come cool places to “Hang” . . . the Neighborhood Coffee house or pub and myriad locally owned and operated restaurants give the locals lots of interesting places to gather.

THIS is COMMUNITY!

Two things that aren’t plentiful on the East Side are Garages and newer home construction. Sometimes, folks choose not to move to East Nashville because of trepidation about the maintenance that might go with owning a 100 year old house . . . and/or a wish for more “civilized” features (such as garages).

Also . . . WHEW! Even in this weird economy, prices of houses in East Nashville have continued to climb gradually, and it is frewquently heard amongst REALTORS that finding a great house over there under $300,000 is a veritable God-send.

Debbie Guthery-Owen offers for sale a house that breaks the East side mold – Built in 2003 with an over-sized 1 car garage on 1/4 acre in the ever-popular Rosebank Meadows area (Just beyond the Urban buzz where the houses are on larger lots.
