How much time, energy, and money has denial cost you in 2019?
I know you know what this is.
It’s that thing you know you should be doing but aren’t.
This might be something you’re telling other people you are doing, but you aren’t.
Or maybe it’s that thing you just can’t seem to find the time to implement.
Let’s be transparent and brutally Honest!
I’m not ask you for a list of things that you could do to increase your efficiency and/or productivity.
Acknowledge that HUGE elephant in that brain of yours.
What is this ONE thing that has the most potential to position you blow the doors off 2020?
This isn’t about the money . . . It’s about your quality of life!
All Goals must be SMART (Specific – Measurable – Achievable – TimeBound)
I hereby DARE you to do this before Thanksgiving (2 weeks from today):
Step 1: Identify your roles in your life – No fewer than 4 and no more than 7
Here are mine:
- CEO/Principal Broker of Pareto Realty
- Real Estate Sales Professional
- Open Space Technology Consultant/Author
- Community Service
Take all the time you need for this next assignment.
Step 2: For each of your roles, Identify the elephant in your brain (That thing you KNOW you should be doing that would be a HUGE “Game Changer” if you were to quite denying it’s importance) and take action.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas . . .
Step 3: For each of your roles, Identify 2-4 additional “goals” (No fewer than 3 and no more than 5)
Step 4: Create ample “accountability measures” to keep you honest WRT Implementation an adopting the new habits necessary
- Find 1 (or more) Accountability Partner(s) who will agree to an EVERY Monday morning 30 minute “Check-in” meeting or call to report progress and provide whatever mutual therapy needed to stay on course.
- Create a “Poster” with these roles and goals – Make multiple copies and put it everywhere you cannot avoid seeing (Bathroom Mirror, Auto dashboard, Desk)
- First thing EVERY morning, affirm your commitment to make 2020 the BEST year EVER
