Some things I love about Nashville.

Yesterday, I needed to pick up an Earnest money check from a client . . . 2014-06-24 14.03.11That’s one thing I love about Nashville because it means I sold a house . . . and LOTS of houses and condominiums are selling these days in Nashville. Our real estate market is VERY Vibrant . . .

Which leads me to another thing I LOVE about Nashville . . . This city is GROWING. It’s SO exciting to see more new things happening every day. New businesses and restaurants and buildings and festivals and parks and and and and . . . My head is spinning with all of these new additions to our fine city.

Then there’s the simpleness of Nashville (once you get to know it). I’m always amazed by the fact that (something else I love about Nashville) Nashville is still a “small town.” There’s nowhere in this city that would take longer than a 30 minute drive . . . and in 15 minutes from anywhere in the city, I can go from Urban to Rural.

Nashvillians are REAL people. Sure, we joke about wanting the tourists to go home, but we really do love them. They add flavor to an already delicious brew of people.

Pick anyone you see in Nashville and start a conversation. Don’t do this if you’re in a hurry, cause we like to talk. I LOVE that about Nashville.

We have really cool OLD architecture buildings . . . and really cool NEW buildings (with more on the way). It’s a nice mix and makes for a Real Estate Photo-journalists dream. As a Real Estate Strategist, I drive a LOT in and around Nashville, and I take a LOT of pictures . . . I’m not sure I’ll EVER run out of good “Material” for instagram – I LOVE that about Nashville.

I took all these pictures through the windshield of my car during my drive to fetch that earnest money check at an office next to Farmer’s Market in the Bicentennial Mall.

If you like to EAT, Nashville has the most AWESOME variety of restaurants, and it ebbs and flows constantly. I LOVE that Nashville! We’ve got the BEST of MANY culinary delights (BBQ, Hot Chicken, Food trucks, fine dining).

I like LIVE MUSIC, and here in Nashville, there’s FREE live music somewhere in Nashville pretty much EVERY day. We have some of the BEST FESTIVALS in North America each year, and they ALL have LOTS of music. I love that about Nashville.

Our new MCC Music City Convention Center and the new crop of Hotels that sprung up around it are all the BEST . . . not to mention the Bridgestone Arena, LP Field, the NEW Baseball Stadium for the Sounds, and a fresh, new design for Riverfront Park . . . Oh yeah! Don’t forget 2nd Avenue, The Gulch, Broadway, 12 South, East Nasty, and myriad other hip/chic places to be – I love all that about Nashville.

I would be remiss if I failed to mention the ever growing GREENWAY that goes from North of the city, through the City and out the other side –

Great for Biking and hiking and walking and just being outside . . . and it reminds me of the HUGE parks – Shelby, Percy Warner, Radnor Lake, Centennial and about 50 others (more being added every year. I LOVE that about Nashville!

2014-06-24 14.02.01Some visitors to Nashville notice “A Church on every corner” . . . I LOVE that about Nashville.

Oh yeah! SPORTS – Tennessee Titans Football, Predators Hockey, Sounds Baseball, Vanderbilt, Lipscomb, Belmont, Fisk, TSU, RACIN’ , Polo. . .

2014-06-24 14.01.50

We’ve got pretty much every sport you’d want to watch or participate – I LOVE that About Nashville.

HOSPITALS – among the best in the nation (Vanderbilt, St Thomas, Baptist, Centennial, Summit . . . This is not a bad place to be if you’re sick or injured.

COLLEGES – Vanderbilt, Lipscomb, Belmont, Nashville Tech, Fisk, TSU, MTSU (35 minute drive), Aquinas . . . All with undergrad and Graduate and adult programs.

Nashville is equipped to educate just about anyone who wants to improve themselves 🙂 I LOVE that about Nashville.

I’m sure there’s more . . .

There IS one thing I don’t like about Nashville . . . CHIGGERS . . . but we can handle those little critters with bug spray.

I’m a passionate advocate for Nashville (can you tell?)

And there are not many people who know Nashville better than I and the quintessential real estate sales professionals of Pareto Realty . . . We stand poised and ready to serve home buyers and sellers throughout middle, and we LOVE what we do and WHERE we do it (Nashville) . . . Give is a ring when you’re ready to buy or sell a house.
