Never too busy to serve YOU!

When someone asks you:

“How’s Business?”

How do you respond?

  • “Better than I deserve!”
  • “I’m so busy I can’t see straight.”
  • “Remarkable!”
  • “Never Been Better.”
  • “Frankly, it SUCKS!”
  • “I HATE this market!”
  • “Ummm . . . i’m doin’ ok”

Your answer to this question might be the distinguishing factor as to whether you receive a referral or not.

If you sound “TOO BUSY,” the referrer may think you’re so busy you aren’t accepting new clients.

If you come across GRANDIOSE, they may think you don’t NEED more business.

Too vague . . . they may not trust you.

Too negatively blunt, they’re going to RUN away.

For many people, this “How’s Business?” question is a qualifier . . .

It’s WAY more than small talk, and the asker is looking for a confident, genuine (eyeball-to-eyeball) response that communicates professionalism and enthusiasm.

You’ve only got a split second to communicate this, and any deflection whatsoever might just kill the deal.

I LOVE my work and am ALWAYS on the hunt for more clients. Why do you ask?

It’s certainly not a bad thing to be BUSY because most people know that when it comes to really getting things DONE, they are best served by busy people . . . because, odds are good, they are already scaled up to a high level of performance and are properly leveraged.

Do you want more Business?

Do you NEED more business?

Master your answer to the “How’s Business?” question and put yourself out there in that great big, scary world of askers, and I’ll bet a bajillion dollars you’ll find more business.

So . . .

How’s Business?

I and the “Vital Few” Real Estate Professionals at Pareto Realty are poised and ready to serve YOU and your referrals . . . and we LOVE being “Busy”
