Monday Morning Coffee – Just Different

I think pretty much every generation thinks that the generations after them have it EASY.

Those folks in the “Younger Generations” judge the older generations by saying that those folks had it so EASY “back in the day” before everything was so complex.

Of course, we “baby-boomers” grew up hearing our parents telling us to stop whining because THEY had to walk to and from school BAREFOOT in the SNOW and UP-HILL both ways.

We would over-hear them talking about “how LAZY kids are these days.”

So . . . Which is it, was it, will it be?



or just “DIFFERENT”???


Technology and the web have masterfully created an environment of hyper-stimulating raplexity of a 24/7/365 way of being for most humans.

The faster we go, the behinder we get.

We long for lazy days on the porch . . . the way things were.

Things aren’t that way any more . . . nor will they ever be.

None of this is to say that we cannot SHINE and revel in today’s environment.

Whether it be Easy, Hard, or Different, we ALWAYS have had, have, and will have CHOICE.

It’s up to us individually to do whatever it takes to make the best of TODAY.

and . . . where the rubber hits the road  – What matters MOST in EVERY generation – is . . . Relationships.

Yep – All things get easier when we mingle and communicate.

We build community, and we thrive together.

In my business as a Real Estate Sales Professional and Principal Broker throughout the past 2+ decades, I have had MANY opportunities to whine about how EASY “they” had it and how “HARD” it is NOW . . . but I know that’s a futile effort . . . and so I spend most of my time “Gathering people.”

I’ve learned that when we invite other people to come together to talk about things for which they have passion, the air for whining dwindles and solution-oriented thinking prevails.

The bottom line is that we ALL “have it easy” if we’ll simply focus on the most important things and people in our lives.

That’s what I and the Vital Few REALTORS of Pareto Realty are out there doing every day.

We’re busting the Myths of present day “Doom & Gloom” proselytizing.

We invite folks to connect with us when they’re ready to Buy or Sell a house, and then we do whatever it takes!
