We’ve all got “ToDos” on our list that we don’t want to do.
Of course, we are able to put this thing off til tomorrow for several consecutive days with myriad “good reasons” . . .
The bottom line, though, is that this must be done, if not by me, by someone other than I . . . or I need to fold and get it off the list.
These procrastination maneuvers can become a career for some folks even to the extent that they can consume your whole psyche.
It becomes an ever present distraction which quickly leads to feelings of guilt and worry, and we needlessly start losing sleep.
We know we’d be better off if we would just go ahead and step up and DO IT (Eat that frog).
We don’t because it’s uncomfortable and maybe enough time has passed that the thing has increased in size and consequence.
Making a Dentist or Dr. Appointment
Having a candid conversation with a loved one about something sensitive and/or potentially inflammatory.
Breaking bad news to a client.
Something is broken, and we don’t know how to fix it.
My challenge to you today:
Whatever it is . . . claim your freedom from your imprisonment, by dealing with it TODAY!
Make this a habit, and you’ll be happier and healthier.
You are hereby liberated from your self limiting thoughts.
