Choose HAPPY! – Monday Morning Coffee!

Don’t Worry! Be HAPPY!

For many people this time of year, choosing HAPPY might be easier said than done!

After all, we’re in a hyper fast, hyper connected world of GO GO GO, and if we’re not moving all the time, we’re weirdos.

or are we?

We choose to immerse ourselves in the maelstrom of “Holiday Busyness” to the extent that we simply burn out.

We face the veritable gauntlet of long-standing family dynamics and do our best to be the best gift chooser, entertainer, guest . . . and at what cost?

The toll can be huge mentally, emotionally, financially . . .

Don’t forget that you CAN choose at what level YOU will participate.

Don’t worry about what “they” will think or say.

For the next few weeks (through Christmas and New Year), I challenge you to “redirect” any and all destructive patterns and thoughts into “Letting Go Energy!”

Become an observer and not a participant in the awkward family dynamics.

If the water gets too hot, choose to remove yourself physically and find a COOL place to roost.

Give yourself the breaks you need to recharge (Your cell phone understands this at a very high level – When it’s out of juice, it shuts down)).

Slow down and reflect on the reason for the season – YOUR personal reason!

Be a little selfish with your time, energy, and money and pledge to engage in a quest for personal fulfillment.

What’s oh-so-magical about this letting go of all of this mayhem is that in doing so, you will be all the more authentically present with/for everyone else.

Maybe you’ll like the results and continue to practice this Letting go Energy after the holidays.

Don’t Worry!

Be Happy!

I wish for you a season of pure, unadulterated JOY in the coming days, weeks, months, years, decades . . .
