What’s your definition of SUCCESS?
If you don’t know, how will you know when you get there?
The motivational gurus all say that we can ALL enjoy success as long as we do all the right things.
Of course, that’s easier said than done . . . even for them.
This question came up in a “Balance of Life” talk I attended last week, and the word “Happiness” popped into my mind as being the best answer . . . nothing more.
It occurred to me that the most successful people I know aren’t the most wealthy or the most influential or the most popular or the most ANYTHING other than HAPPY!
Happy people seem to get more done because they’re less concerned about what other people think of them.
They worry less.
They don’t waste time and energy judging others.
They’re not interested in controlling other people or situations, yet they are often the first to lend a hand when needed.
When these Happy people do something great, they tend to shrug it off as “just doing my job” or “I just jumped in because it seemed to be the right thing to do.”
The Gurus are also all abuzz about paying attention to the things that matter.
I agree . . . and it’s no surprise to me that the most success people get this concept at a very high level.
Every Monday morning, I send the ‘Vital Few” agents of Pareto Realty an “opening message” for the week to give them a nudge to EXCEL 🙂
Here’s today’s version:
So I don’t want to jinx us, but I think Spring is here to stay.
