I hereby invite you not to be so humble.
Because I KNOW you are FAMOUS!
I have no question that you are the BEST at what you do.
I know this because most people who see you practicing your art of being you are mystified by your skill and the impact you have on the lives of the people you serve.
Of course in your mind, you’re “just doing your job.”
What you don’t know is that people (LOTS of people) are talking about you behind your back.
They whisper things like:
“How does she DO all that?”
“How does she have the TIME to do it all . . . and do it so well?”
They’re watching and admiring your every move.
Creepy, isn’t it?
Your modest nature has probably squelched your awareness of your greatness, but I think you should notice and be proud.
Turn up your volume!
Be as much of a “Public Figure” as you can through presence in your community and sphere of influence.
In this way, you’ll be living your dream of serving more of these people who need your service.
The above comes from a session I facilitated last week with a room full of Sales Professionals. We were exploring ways to generate leads for our businesses other than traditional marketing.
I suggested that the most effective effective way to attract customers/clients to our businesses is to amp up our presence.
and occasionally give ourselves permission to brag about our work 🙂
