I am a voracious reader!
In fact, it’s not uncommon for me to have 3 or 4 books going at the same time. I tend to leave them scattered about the place (House/Car/Office) and typically read a chapter from whatever book is closest as time permits.
Many folks think I’m nuts and ask how I could possibly do this without confusing the books with each other.
What’s most fun about it is that I tend to glean ideas that mix and mingle in my head, and I generally get a richer experience . . . like a melting pot of ideas.
What works for me may not work for others.
How much does the average person actually READ these days?
How much do YOU read?
Real books (With paper pages) . . . or kindle books . . . or blog posts . . . or not at all?
Many folks say they “don’t have time to read” . . . I say: “You don’t CREATE time to read.”
and I wonder . . . If we were to start a “Book Club” with the idea to read ONE book each month . . . Then meet to discuss . . . Would that heightened level of “accountability” compel non-readers to READ?
I think so . . . so . . . I’m gonna do it.
If you’re in Middle Tennessee and are interested in joining my book club, connect with me – We’ll start next week.
