Monday Morning Coffee – Full of THANKS!

Good Monday Morn to ya!

If you’re anything like me, this is going one very unfocused, scattered, non-productive week, but that’s OK because I think we’ve ALL got a LOT for which we can be thankful.

I’m guessing if you’re reading this post, you probably have a roof over your head, food in your refrigerator (which means you have electricity), and access to the internet . . . and if you’ve got all of that, you probably also have Family and friends who you care about and who care about YOU!

When I sit down to write a blog post (Almost daily), I seldom have a clue as to what I’m about to say . . . and I let my fingers type whatever surfaces. I’m thankful for this “opportunity” I have each day to clear my mind through sharing my own learning and life experience as it happen . . . real time. I am also very thankful for all of the feedback I get throughout the year from so many people (Readers) many of whom I’ve gotten to “Know” albeit virtually.

THANK YOU!

My message today is a simple one.

Let it go!

Today’s message from “The Universe” sums it up nicely:

“There’s nothing worth regret.

Absolutely nothing, ever.

Same for fear, worry, and anger.

Let ’em go, rise above, get down, move on -”

We’ve all had a quite a ride this year, and there have been plenty of “stressors” in our lives as we navigate our own lives while the environment ebbs and flows in and out of stability. To some degree, we are in relatively volatile times, and passions are beginning to flare.

Seth Godin wrote a very apropos post today in which he says:

“No one can force you to stand up, speak up and make a difference. But if you back off and play along, please understand that whatever happens happened, at least in part, because you acquiesced.”

I am thankful that we can each CHOOSE to “stand up, speak up and make a difference”

One more quote . . . Spoken b y Marianne Williamson (Although I’m not sure she wrote this)

” “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

I wish for you a full week of acknowledging and giving thanks for all that is GOOD in your life . . . Let go of the rest.

Step away from the din and reflect on the wonderment of the world and people around you.

Celebrate your accomplishments this year (Your harvest of 2013).

and move forward with resolute purpose.

I can’t wait to see you soar through 2014.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
