As you prepare to take care of everyone else during the festivities, don’t forget to take care of yourself.
We hosts tend to give and give and give until we have nothing left for ourselves . . . It’s in our nature.
Sure – Do what needs to be done, but ASK for help from others along the way . . . You do NOT have to do it ALL yourself for it all to get done “right.”
Quit expecting “perfection” by YOUR standards because that traps you in the role of doing it ALL by yourself (Because NO ONE can do this as well as you, right?)
Spend more time celebrating the reason for the season and having truly quality time with friends and family the next 3 weeks.
Enjoy the flow of positivity.
PS – NOT permitted!
– Dragging skeletons out of closets
-“Hating in-laws” (or anyone else)
– nit picking
Statistics show that the holiday season is the MOST stressful time of year for many folks.
Don’t be this statistic and INVITE others in . . .
Especially reach out to those who may not be “home for the holidays” . . .
Set another place at the table.
