Did you Volunteer or were you Volunteered?

Was it an “Opt in” or an “Opt out” opportunity?

Did you choose your station?

In the Army, most soldiers are VERY strategic when it comes to volunteering. Those who volunteer tend to enjoy their work more, and they rise in rank faster.

Those who rarely (or never) volunteer generally get volunteered for the WORST duties . . . and consider themselves to be “unlucky.”

Call it what you want, but it’s up to YOU to create your own life experience. Volunteer (take responsibility) for more things that MATTER to you, and you’ll find that you’ll have less time and attention for things that don’t.

There are plenty of folks out there practicing being small and invisible who will accept being volunteered to take on those “unlucky” roles.

. . . and they’ll wonder how YOU get SO lucky 🙂

You’ve got this!

Now GO!!
